Sunday was forgotten as Boro got back down to business tonight at Craven Cottage. Boro dominated the first half but failed to make their possession count.

Mark Viduka capped a fine debut performance with a goal 10 minutes into the second half. Szilard Nemeth made the result safe within two minutes of coming on as substitute, late in the game.

George Boateng was carried off with a couple of minutes remaining to spoil an impressive victory.
