Zemmama has been handed a place on the bench after receiving clearance to play following his deadline day move from Hibernian.

Mowbray, the Boro boss, has also left Kris Boyd on the bench and has asked Scott McDonald to prove he is worthy of starting alongside Leroy Lita in attack.

A hamstring?injury sustained by?Andrew Taylor, meanwhile, has led to his late withdrawal, meaning that Marvin Emnes has an opportunity to impress against a Swansea?City side that wanted to sign him last month.?

Jonathan Grounds has been given a spot at the heart of the defence following the news that skipper Matthew Bates faces six weeks out with hamstring trouble.
