You're Wrong Strachan - It's A Rubbish League!

The new Middlesbrough boss has taken only a point and seen a single goal to show for his efforts to date.

That run has seen the Teessiders slip to 11th place in the table, 11 points adrift of leaders and and nine shy of the last automatic promotion spot.

His pedigree is debatable. I don't believe anyone can be judged as a manager having been in charge of one of the Old Firm, because it is a two-team league.

Celtic and Rangers are not even in the same planet as the rest in that league, which is why the Scottish national team is so bad ... because Scottish football is seen as a joke across Europe.

Of course Strachan won things at Parkhead ... the monkey washed up on Hartlepool beach would have at least finished runner-up if he was manager of Celtic.

As for the Championship ... it is a 'long-ball' league full of has-beens and wannabees ... and any half-decent footballing side will shine.

Yes "everyone can beat everyone else" ... because the quality is THAT bad.

You either roll up your sleeves and dig in, or get kicked off the pitch.

Strachan: "If you can get on a run - it might start with a lucky one, it might start with a great one, you never know - but we are all looking in this division.

"It's a hard, hard division. There's nothing tricky about it, there's nothing cosmic about the football. It's pretty straightforward, the football here, and it's good.

"But it's the ones who have the goalscorers who will be promoted, that's for sure.

"I have been in positions like this before and it's not nice, but you have to deal with it.

"You always know that if you keep working hard, the world will become a better place.

"The game is simple: the more times you put the ball in the back of the net, the world is a better place, that's for sure."
