Two Boro Players Commit to Club

Earlier this week Gareth Southgate signed a new deal with Boro which will keep him under contract with the club until the end of the 2006/07 season. He will be 36 by May 2007.

Meanwhile, Juninho's agent says that the player was flattered by Celtic's interest and was impressed with what Martin O'Neill had to offer. However, Juninho is very happy on Teesside and would prefer to stay and fight for his place.
