Three Boro players help England U19's to final

For this semi-final the England manager played Tony McMahon, who was an unused sub in the last Group game against Norway and left David Wheater on the bench.

Andrew Taylor and James Morrison played the full minutes.

England went in with a one goal lead at half-time with Matt Fryatt (Walsall), getting his first of the game. After 81 minutes Fryatt made it 2-0 but their opponents were soon back in with a chance.

England lived on a knife edge rigt through to the end of stoppage time before breaking away for Fryatt to get his hat-trick.
