West Ham paid for around 30 coaches to bring supporters north in their chase for a quarter-final tie at Everton ... but the vocal support did little to help their team on the field.
Boro outclassed, outplayed and outshone the Cockney boys and made it a long trip back down the A1/M1.
Gianfranco Zola: "The fans have always been with us and to them goes my appreciation.
"I am very thankful to them and it is so important to see them in big numbers when the players come onto the pitch.
