Striker Ruled Out

Boro boss Gareth Southgate has revealed that the Egyptian international striker, who has been sidelined since October, has returned to training but will not figure in his first team plans for the game at Ewood Park on Saturday.

"Mido is back in training, but not yet with the team," Southgate told the Gazette.

"He won't be available for the game tomorrow but the good news is that he is not too far away."
