Danny Webber: "I've had talks with Middlesbrough, but I have had talks with a number of clubs this summer.
"Obviously, it is a good club and the setup there is very impressive, as are the club's ambitions, but it's not a case of a deal being close or not. It's basically an option that I am considering at the moment really.
"I've spoken to Neil (Warnock) and obviously I know him well from our time together at Sheffield United and I have a lot of admiration for him and how he works, but it is again just another option for me to consider at the moment.
"My fitness shouldn't be a problem because I'm doing my own fitness work at the moment to make sure that I am up to speed with the other guys when I join a new club.
"It would be nice to know where my future lies, but it is up to me to make the decision and then make sure that I settle in as quickly as possible so that I can give 100 per cent to the club in question.
"That is the aim really, to make a decision quickly, but not rush it because it's important to make the right choice."
