Williams missed the game through suspension, but he expects to be back in the side at Loftus Road.
Gordon Strachan has the option to play Williams at right-back, or in midfield, with Gary O’Neil struggling with a groin strain.
Williams: “I honestly don’t mind where I play, as long as I am playing. I just enjoy playing football.
“QPR like to play football, so that will encourage us to play as well.
“If teams kick it long you find that you gradually drop down to that level, but it always suits us to have the chance to play our football.
“We know it will be a tough game because they are above us in the league, but they are all tough. We’ll go there looking to win, and if we do that, the rest is up to us. It’s time to turn things around.”
