The French midfielder came on during the second half against the Baggies and Gareth Southgate said: “Didier needed that run out but he is still a long way short of full fitness.”
Digard took over from Julio Arca, with Southgate adding: “Julio has had a yellow card and a warning from the ref, so it was wise to take him off.”
