Southgate Demands Strikers Take Responsibility!

With King likely to be paired with Afonso Alves in a dual strikeforce, Southgate can also call on Tuncay to provide another goal threat - while it would be good to see Stewart Downing finally get off the mark for the season.
Southgate: "We know we need more goals and that is one of the reasons we brought Marlon here.
"We must have more of an attacking threat and we need to show it against Blackburn.
"Obviously we have to combine that with a positive overall performance.
"We have shown a lot of spirit in our last two games and we need to see a lot more of that tomorrow.
"Blackburn will come here determined to try to be tight and organised and we have to break them down, in addition to defending well at the other end.
"When you look at the games we have coming up, an attacking threat is vital.
"We've got teams like Hull, Fulham and Portsmouth to follow over the next couple of months and the points will be important.
"We need to start winning league games again and we need to win at home."
