Sky fixtures announced

Only three games have been chosen at the Riverside, unlike last season when seven Boro games at the Riverside were shown live by Sky before Christmas.

In fact with the combination of live games and Boro's European commitments Boro fans had to wait until New Years Eve to witness their first traditional 3pm kick at the Riverside on a Saturday.

The games scheduled by Sky are:

Portsmouth (h) will now be played on Monday 28th August (8pm) and shown on Sky Sports, it was scheduled for Saturday 26th August.

Sheffield United (a) on Saturday 30th September has been moved back to 5.15pm and will be shown on PremPlus (Pay-Per-View).

Manchester City (a) will now be played on Monday 30th October (8pm) and shown on Sky Sports, it was scheduled for Saturday 28th October.

Liverpool (h) on Saturday 18th November has been moved back to 5.15pm and will be shown on PremPlus.

Manchester United (h) on Saturday 2nd December has been moved back to 5.15pm and will be shown on PremPlus.

In addition to these changes, the first home game against Chelsea has been moved back 24 hours to Wednesday 23rd August (8pm) because Chelsea are playing on the previous Sunday.
