Shut-out against the Trotters?

While Boro boast the best defensive record in the Premiership (5 in 8 games) Bolton can claim they have scored in every league game this season, although they failed to score against Third Division Bury during the week and were duly dumped out of the Worthington Cup.

Boro are likely to start with the same eleven that won so convincingly at White Hart lane last Saturday, but there could be places for Szilard Nemeth, Carlos Marinelli and Mark Wilson on the bench. Nemeth has recovered form a hamstring injury while the later two performed well for the 'reserves' in the Worthington Cup at Brentford.

With only four games in the Premiership this afternoon Boro should still be rooted in third spot. A four point gap above us restricts movement up the table and only a defeat by four clear goals will move us down one place.

If we fail to take three points off Bolton we could find ourselves dropping a couple of places after the remaining Premiership fixtures tomorrow and Monday.
