Schwarzer spent 12 seasons at Boro before turning down a new contract in the summer and opting to try his luck with Fulham instead.
The former Boro 'keeper wants his mates to lock out Tuncay and Stewart Downing when they strut their stuff at Craven Cottage on Saturday.
Mark Schwarzer: "Middlesbrough have got some very good players in Tuncay and Stewart Downing, who are two players that can always cause a problem. So we need to be aware of those two.
"We set out with the goal to not concede and we've done thataid.
"The emphasis is defending as a team, it's not just about individuals. We've worked very hard in training in working on our shape and hopefully we can keep it up and continue to get a few more clean sheets.
"It's another must-win home game and that's all that's important. It's a home game that we believe we should win and we need to go out there and perform in the way we know that we can. We've played very well at home so far, dominating and putting teams under pressure. Hopefully we'll do that on Saturday."
