Wilf represented his country 26 times while playing for Boro, a record that has stood since 1952.

The big Aussie is currently one cap behind the Boro legend and will equal the record if he plays in the friendly against New Zealand tonight at Craven Cottage.

With a minimum of three, but a potential of five games, to come in the Confederations Cup this month in Germany, Wilf's total will be surpassed with ease.

Mark Viduka could also make a return to action for the Socceroo's tonight.
