The Romanian strikers's agent has said that Boro are close to signing Dica having held talks with Steaua president Valeriu Argaseala.

"Valeriu Argaseala has been discussing for two days with those from Middlesbrough," the player's agent Dumitru Tudor told prosport.ro.
