Robbie Stockdale leaves the Riverside

After making only two substitution appearances for Middlesbrough last season and being sent on loan to West Ham United and Rotherham the writing was on the wall for his Boro career to end.

His last appearance for the Teessiders was on 30th August 2003 when Leeds won 3-2 at the Riverside.

The 24 year-old Redcar born defender's best season was probably 2001/02 when he started 34 games and made two substitute apperances and scored one goal.
