Reserve team coach Colin Cooper fielded an experienced side with a mix of youth as the Reserves continued their useful start to the season.

Robert Huth got another 90 minutes under his belt, while Julio Arca made his first start since the opening day of the seaon at Reading, he played for just over an hour.

Massimo Maccarone and Ray Parlour also started adding their first team experience to the side, indeed, of the starting eleven only goalkeeper David Knight had not been involved for the first team.

Boro were behind inside two minutes after a defensive mix up but fought back and dominated for long spells.

The equaliser finally came ten minutes into the second half from Danny Graham who was left one on one with the keeper after Ray Parlour won the ball midway inside the Blackburn half.

Boro had the better chances to win the game but had to settle for a share of the points.
