The Reserves just can't stop winning at the moment as they chase Manchester United at the top of the Premiership Reserve League North.

Another young Reserves side, Colin Cooper apart, were in action at the County Ground in Leyland against an equally young Bolton Reserves. With Boro riding high in the table they were no match for a Bolton side that lie at the bottom of the table having won just twice in the league this season.

Two first half goals from Graeme Owens and Tom Craddock set Boro on their way. Bolton pulled a goal back early in the second half but Adam Johnson sealed the victory with the third goal late on.

Boro taem:
Knight, Liddle (Johnson, J), Wheater, Cooper, Grounds, Clough, Cattermole (Fisher), Kennedy, Johnson (A), Craddock, Owens (Burgess)
