Pre-Season Starts With Draw

The two side's played out a golless first forty-five minutes in front of just over 3000 spectators at KitKat Crescent but with Boro boss Gareth Southgate making ten changes at the break, Jonathan Franks gave the visitors the lead just a minute into the second period.

The hosts, however, drew level on 74 minutes through Adam Boyes.

Onome Sodje looked to have sealed a win for the Blues Square Premier League side when he netted with just four minutes remaining but David Wheater equalised for Boro just two minutes later.
