Potters Move Interests Riggott

The Boro defender joined the Potters on a loan deal until the end of the season last week and is not ruling out making a permanent switch to the Britannia Stadium in the summer.

"It was a no-brainer for me to come to Stoke because I haven't played a lot of football in the last year. I'm excited by the thought of playing again - and for a team that seems to be flying despite a couple of dodgy results," Riggott told the Sentinel.

"I've come here to play and help the team. The aim is obviously to win as many of the last 10 games as possible to try and win automatic promotion.

"I wouldn't rule out a move to Stoke. But for the short-term, I just want to get my first game out of the way and then build on that. You can't look too far ahead."
