Emanuel Pogatetz says he needs a full-time doctor for running repairs after suffering from another knock.
He needed five stitches in his left eyebrow on the touchline at the Riverside on Saturday before carrying on heavily bandaged.
Emanuel Pogatetz: “I am getting embarrassed about it now.
“At the moment it seems every time I get hit I start bleeding and have to come off
“Hopefully it will stop in the near future so I can play a full 90 minutes without getting stitches.
“The mask was fine. I’ve been wearing it in training and I’m used to it now.
“Besides, once the game starts I don’t even notice it. It doesn’t stop me from doing anything I normally do.
“The doctors said six weeks for my bones to heal so I will need to wear it for the next few games but it is no problem.”
