Gary O'Neil: "We played well against Liverpool and look what happened after that. So there's no knock-on effect from one game to another.

"We got caught in a spell of Everton pressure which we knew would come at the start of the second half, but it was disappointing to lose the way we did.

"We seem to have struggled with crosses and conceded goals the way we did at Everton all season.

"But Portsmouth will come here and they know they will be in a battle."
