Middlesbrough have appointed Malcolm Crosby as reserve team coach, filling the gap in the coaching team created by the departure this week of Mark Proctor to Darlington.

Crosby was previously assistant manager at Swindon, who are managed by Andy King. He has worked with Steve McClaren in the past as he was assistant manager at Oxford when McClaren led the teams Reserves and Youth sides.
