New Boy Wants To Hear Some Boro Noise!

Last updated : 30 January 2009 By Boro Mad

Marlon King: "I'm 110% committed to Middlesbrough and definitely up for this challenge.

"We knew Wednesday night's game would have been frustrating at times for the wide-men and myself but we did pretty well until the first goal, which was a real kick in the teeth.

"The boys are bitterly disappointed, not just about the result but also the way we let the two goals in. We frustrated them for an hour or so and have been undone by something which should be bread and butter to us.

"I'm looking forward to making my home debut if I get the opportunity. I know there's a battle ahead but I'm up for it and so are the rest of the boys.

"These games are the ones that can decide your fate. There are still 15 games to go but we need to be getting points on the board sooner rather than later and start making our home ground a fortress.

"We're at home and I'm sure the fans will be behind us because we will definitely need them come three o'clock.

"When you're down at the bottom you need someone to produce a moment of magic but you also need everyone to dig in and grind out - fingers crossed we can do that."
