The transfer of Ugo Ehiogu to West Brom could be finalised today while 'want away' keeper Mark Schwarzer looks set to sign for Portsmouth in a deal worth around £2m.

Rumours of Jimmy Floyd Hassbaink's departure to West Brom or Charlton are also being well circulated.

Boro have confirmed the extension of three loan deals. Andrew Davies will stay at Derby until the end of the season, with no call-back option, while Danny Graham has extended his loan for another month. Ross Turnbull will stay at Crewe until the end of the season.

David Knight joined Darlington last week as emergency cover for the Quakers, while Andrew Taylor has been recalled from Bradford to cover for the injured Franck Queudrue.
