Lee Cattermole: "I spoke with the gaffer on a few occasions about Mido before he brought him here.

"Steve Bruce asked me what he was like, and I could only say good things about him.

"Mido is a great lad who just wants to play football and score goals - you can see the work rate he puts in.

"There is always disruption when you lose players. We had a great team spirit here and now we have a few new faces, we've got to build that again and try to finish the season as strongly as possible."
