Mido Finally Gets His Move!

With Mido being the only player Southgate can really bargain with, one he could do without, it seems as though the two clubs could strike a loan deal, although reports suggest they are both open to permanent moves.

Mido has rejected speculation linking him with a move to Turkey, but only Wigan seem interested.

King has been on loan at Hull City, but he had a 'fall out' with manager Phil Brown at the weekend and now looks unlikely to have any sort of future at the KC Stadium.

With none or little money to spend, Southgate is on a sticky wicket.

He is in a position were he can only consider what he is offered - player wise - for Mido, because no club seems willing to offer cash.

Southgate has already tried to swap the Egyptian for Newcastle's Alan Smith and Marlon Harewood of Aston Villa, but neither deal has materialised.
