Middlesbrough trio help England reach semi-final

England beat Norway 3-2 in the last game in their Group and progressed to the semi-finals.

James Morrison crossed for Matthew Mills (Southampton) to score England's first after four minutes. Norway equalised 923 minutes) and the teams went in at 1-1 at half-time.

After 79 minutes Norway took the lead against the run of play but England fought back strongly. A minute later Morrison's corner was put in the net by substitute Dexter Blackstock (Southampton) .

Four minutes later another sub, Boro's David Wheater who came on in the 73rd minute, headed home England's third to secure the victory and a place in the semi-final.

Morrison and Wheater were involved in the goal action and Andrew Taylor played the full 90 minutes, Tony McMahon was unused on the bench.
