Middlesbrough Reserves slump to third consecutive defeat

Middlesbrough (team below) started the game brightly and had a couple of attempts on goal before the visitors took the lead on 14 minutes from a corner.

There were a few close calls at both ends after this but the score was still 0-1 at the final whistle.

There was good news in that Michael Reiziger got 72 minutes of football under his belt. However, there was also bad news as Danny Graham was taken off at half-time and will need a scan to check if a bone in his leg is broken.

Birmingham's victory took them to third in the table and left Boro languishing in the lower part of the table with three wins, draws and defeats.
