Middlesbrough Release Another Player

Close has moved to Darlington and made a promising debut on Tuesday night at home to Cheltenham.

Chris Brunt left the Boro last week for Sheffield Wednesday.

Three other young players have gone elsewhere on trial. Two (Gary Smith and Craig Dove) to Wimbledon and 'keeper Sam Russell has gone to Doncaster.
