Middlesbrough: Injury worries as reserves lose

Both Stuart Parnaby and Malcolm Christie failed to return to the action after half time prompting worries over their recent injuries. It was Parnaby's first game back after injury but Christie had managed 90 minutes for the reserves last week.

For the record the game was won by a solitary first half goal, scored by Everton's James Vaughan. Boro dominated the second half against a young Everton side but could not get back into the game.
