Wednesday
Szilard Nemeth (Slovakia) v Austria. Played full game. Ended 1-1.

Bolo Zenden (Holland) v France, in Holland. Final Score 0-0, played 90 minutes.

Gareth Southgate (England) v Sweden, in Sweden. Captained the side in the second half, played 45 minutes. Sweden won 1-0.

Danny Mills (England) v Sweden, in Sweden. Did not play.

At the Junior Internationals were:
Stewart Downing, 78 minutes for England U21 v Sweden (score 2-2)

Ross Turnbull (goal), 45 minutes for England U19 v Germany U19, game ended 1-1. Turnbull, however, was the second Boro keeper to keep a clean sheet

Brad Jones (goal), 90 minutes for Australia U23 v Greece U23. Also kept a clean sheet as Australia won 1-0.

A record breaking six Boro youngsters played in England v Belgium U18’s game. England won 1-0 with the Middlesbrough player James Morrison scoring the winner.
