In a statement form the club on their SMS text messaging service they said:
"GAIZKA SIGNS! - 29m man Gaizka Mandieta has joined Boro on a one-year loan with a guarenteed four-year permanent contract to follow. There is no fee involved."
Interesting statement . . . a guarenteed four year permanent contract . . . no fee involved. This could be the transfer of the century, more to follow.
