Mr. Wiley takes charge of his first Boro game this season. To date this seaon he has booked 60 players and sent off just 2 in 24 games.

He officiated in five Boro games last season including the 4-1 hammering of Manchester United and the 3-0 win at Sunderland, the other three games we lost.

Last season he was in charge of 44 games during which he flashed the yellow card 142 times and the red card 7 times, including 19 yellow cards in his five Boro games.

He has been refereeing in the Football League since 1995 and was promoted to the Premier League list in 1999. To date he has officiated in over 150 Premier League games and was the referee in charge of the 2002 Community Shield between Arsenal and Liverpool and last seasons FA Cup Final between Liverpool and West Ham.
