*** Late change Phil Dowd to referee, Dermot Gallagher 4th official.***

At 48 years-old Dermot is one of the old-timers and has been on the Premier League list since it's first season in 1992. He was appointed to the FIFA list in 1995 and has refereed a number of European and World Cup games.

The highlight of his career will be the FA Cup Final in 1996 between Manchester United and Liverpool.

Last season he officiated in 36 games handing out 80 yellow cards and 5 red. This included three Boro games, Fulham (a), Everton (h) and Tottenham (h), in which he booked 8 players.

This season he has officiated in three games, most recently at Newcastle on Saturday, in which he controversially dismissed West Ham's Paul Konchesky. He also booked two other players.
