Marinelli leaves Boro

Carlos Marinelli left the Riverside last week when his contract was terminated with the mutual agreement of club and player. The swaggering (a Bernie Slaven term for the player) youngster promised much but rarely delivered in his spell on Teesside. He made 55 appearances and scored five goals, the last was at Fulham on the opening day of this season.
