Mackem Could Be Heading To Riverside! - Middlesbrough FC

Reports from Birmingham suggest Gordon Strachan could try and tempt former Mackem Kevin Phillips to Boro. He has long been an admirer of the England international.

Gordon Strachan: “There are one or two wee problems with the size of the squad. We are looking to strengthen in certain positions.

“We’ve got two strikers injured and we have to take that into account.”

Strachan will at look at the possibility of bringing in a striker on loan and Birmingham’s Kevin Phillips fits the bill.
