Lawrenson Says 'Boro Are Relegated'!

Mark Lawrenson: "Gareth Southgate is set to face the same task as Steve Coppell - taking a relegated team straight back into the Premier League.

"After the defeat at Newcastle on Monday, I'm sorry to say that they have gone.

"But I think chairman Steve Gibson shares some of the responsibility by cutting the wage bill so severely last summer and will give Southgate the chance to bring Boro straight back.

"And they'll now have to cut their cloth further for the Championship with an even younger side."
