Kitson Set For Start In Strachan's Line-Up!

Kitson played alongside Leroy Lita at Reading a few years ago.

Gordon Strachan: “We’re pleased to bring him here. He’s got a good goal-scoring record.

“I first saw him when I was at Southampton and he was playing for Cambridge on a wet Tuesday night.

“I was impressed by him then, but Southampton were eighth in the league and I thought he would need to go somewhere in between first.

“He’s done that and now I am glad to have him here because he is a handy, handy player.

“It’s up to us to score goals. We have prepared in the right manner, but at the end of the day it’s about putting the ball in the net when the chances come along.”
