The Cameroon striker, who was brought into the club by Bryan Robson, found life hard at the Riverside in his first two years at the club and even went on loan to Metz last season.

This season though, with the help of Geremi, Job's form has turned around and he has been one of the star players this season. The news that Boro may have considered letting him go may worry some fans. It is believed that PSG were willing to pay £3 million for Job's services.

It has raised fears that McClaren may need to sell him in the summer, after again spending Gibsons cash on deadline day. Four players were brought in by SMc, with a total outlay of £5.5 million.

In other news, the re-schedueled tie with Newcastle is most likely to be on Tuesday March 4th, after February 15th was ruled out beacuse of international dates and champion league games.
