Mark Crossley kept Germany at bay in Cardiff as Wales earned a 1-0 victory over Rudi Voller's World Cup bound team. Robert Earnshaw scored on his debut in the Millennium Stadium as Wales recorded only their second ever win against Germany.

Szilard Nemeth took part in a friendly for his native Slovakia against Uzbekistan but was not on the scoresheet as his team won 4-1, although he did provide the cross for the fourth goal.

Also in action was Stuart Parnaby who was representing England U-20's in the Toulon tourmanent. He helped the young England side to a 0-0 draw against Brazil but unfortunately it wasn't enough to see England through to the final.

They will contest the third/fourth place playoff on Friday after not conceding a goal in the tournament.
