Injury woe for Boro's Christie

The Boro striker made his first team return in the UEFA Cup against Banik Ostrava when he appeared as a late substitute.

Christie was suffering increasing pains in the leg that he broke last November and investigations have revealed that he has developed a stress fracture.

He will undergo an opertion to pin the fracture next week and is expected to be out of action until Christmas.
