The highly-rated 20-year-old has seen his career at the Riverside blighted by injury problems since his goalscoring debut in a 4-3 FA Cup replay win against Hull City back in January 2007.He recently returned to the Teessiders following a disappointing loan spell at Derby where he failed to make an appearance.
