The Boro captain injured his knee while fouling Freddie Ljungberg on Saturday at the Emirates Stadium. A foul for which he received his second yellow card.
After seeing a specialist he has been told to rest the knee for 10 days before it is re-assessed. He would miss the trip to Bolton anyway because of his dismissal at Arsenal.
I only hope that his injury is not serious because we can ill afford to be without the influential captain.
