Call-up for Jono
Greening has been one of the success stories of Boro's season so far after an indifferent start last season.

The former U-21 international, who won 17 caps at that level, has been getting some rave reviews this season and the opportunity to join up with the full squad, for this three-day get-together, will be a massive boost to his confidence.

The call-up was welcomed by Boro boss Steve McClaren, who said "It's an excellent reward for Jonathan's tremendous hard work and belief in himself and it's justified by his excellent performances this season. We're all very, very pleased and proud at the club"

Greening is joined in the 26-man squad by his Boro captain Gareth Southgate but there is no place for team mate Ugo Ehiogu.
