Downing: "We created a lot of chances and should have finished it off.
"If we look at their goal we're disappointed because it was a set-piece - we coped well with them all afternoon apart from the last one.
"I enjoy playing in middle.
"I like getting on the ball and creating things. That's my job.
"I've played there a few times now and think I've done well. It worked against Sunderland and I think it did against West Ham too."
