Downing picks up award

In a poll carried out by redsquare Downing was the clear winner with 65% of his colleagues votes. He will be presented with the award before the game tomorrow.

Bolo Zenden and Franck Queudrue were joint second. The winner in the 2003/04 season was Doriva.
