Downing Has Played His Last Game For Boro!

Downing's illustrious career on Teesside is almost certainly be over as Boro face up to their crucial Premier League decider at West Ham with a spate of injuries.

Downing was having scans on his injured foot today after being stretchered off during the first half of Saturday's match against Aston Villa, but his injury looks serious.

Even if only heavy bruising is diagnosed, it would appear that he has only a slim chance of lining up at Upton Park.

This would mean that Downing has played his last game for the club if, as expected, he moves on during the summer.
