Stewart Downing: "We knew what was coming from Rory Delap and his long throw.
"We had dealt with the balls into the area quite well, with Robert Huth getting his head on a few, David Wheater clearing a few, but they ground us down eventually, even though we should have had a few ourselves.
"It's been the story of our season to get into decent positions and then concede late on. I don't know how many we have conceded late on but we have lost a lot of points because of it."
